Squadron Leader Keith Rundle headed a party in search of lost aircrew members in the Pacific at the end of the War. Together they covered thousands and thousands of kilometres by air, sea and on foot in search of clues. They battled not only the terrain but also small bands of Japanese soldiers who remained at large. This little known but dramatic aspect of the war in the Southwest Pacific is told with the aid of rare photos and brings to light some extraordinary tales of survival and tragic stories of lonely deaths. 245 pp - Paperback - Published 1999
