     This book discusses 460 Squadron operations, Bomber command generally and this Lancaster in particular. Australians flew from many from British bases against Nazi Germany and bomber crews had about 3,500 deaths during the war.

     The aircraft was flown back to Australia in 1944 and after some War Bonds work, became the famous exhibit in the Australian War memorial in Canberra.
