    The history of this Queensland battalion describes the lives of some 1400 men, covering training in Australia and in Malaya.

      This book covers the events in Malaya and Singapore in 1941 and 1942 and after the fighting ended on Singapore Island, the men of the battalion went into captivity.

        What followed was years of misery from which many did not return.
