The quality of the photography is remarkable and the maps and illustrations are highly illuminating. It is also a wonderfully well written expose of Australian and New Zealand troop movements on the western front and in Turkey. The coverage is fully comprehensive, from the assassination of the Arch Duke to the armistice and the home front. This production is of rare quality and it is laid out in a way easy on the eye. It is an excellent addition to any library and informs like few books can.
