John Lever In total some 500 Vengeances were acquired by the RAAF, and five operational squadrons were equppied with them, but unfortunately very little has been written about these aircraft and much of the publicity which they have received has been unjustly critical.
In covering the history of No. 4 OTU, the author has included first hand accounts by aircrew, not only of their experiences at No. 4 OTU but also of their subsequent service with Vengeance squadrons.
