NO. 2 OTU RAAF MILDURA

& NO. 8 OTU RAAF PARKES

 John Lever

A history of the RAAF's Fighter Pilot Operational Training Units.

Australia faced a terrible threat as No. 2 OTU arrived at Mildura with five Kittyhawks, seventeen Wirraways and two Fairey Battles in May 1942.

No. 8 OTU RAAF was  formed from No. 2 OTU. The accounts of each have been combined to provide a clearer picture of the training of RAAF fighter and tactical reconnaissance pilots during the War.
