This book presents a pictorial record of six years at war with the 2/2nd Australian Machine gun battalion, which formed part of the Ninth Australian Division during WWII. It recalls in graphic detail the fighting at Alamein, and particularly the desperate struggle before the final battle was won, as well as the campaigns in New Guinea and Borneo.
