THE KOKODA TREK CLUB The club has been formed with the aim of bringing together and recognising those who have walked all (or part) of the Kokoda-Owers Corner route.

Badges are issued as: One trek (bronze), Two treks (silver), Three or more (gold). By wearing your ‘KT Club’ badge, you and fellow members will instantly recognise each other as having the famous trek in common.

Your name and that of other club members, will appear on a data base that can be seen (www.warbooks.com.au) which also carries the latest interesting stories about Kokoda (click on ‘KOKODA TREK’). If you have interesting information to share, we invite your input for the website – send to (warbookshop@bigpond.com).

Part of your joining fee will be used to improve the life of villagers along the trail – in particular, simple first-aid needs, assisting local people to run their own trekking business and equipping carriers. The project is called ‘Friends of the Kokoda Trail’ and if you have ideas, please advise us.
