A semi-unit history and the experiences of an anti-aircraft gunner and his mates of the 14 Heavy Battery. They spent a weary year installing their guns in Darwin's heat, and then the pacific war started. The battery was right on the waterfront as the Japanese started bombing Darwin in February 1942. Includes nominal roll and many original pictures.
